Paul E. Dangerously: Do you feel it?..... The winds of change in the industry known as professional wrestling are all around us, three weeks ago people said ECW was dead. Tonight we rise from the ashes, not from a hand out from some mysterious benefactor. We didn't need the charity we maanged to crawl out of our ready dug grave and stand up on our own two feet. All it took was for someone to realise that in this locker room we have the hardest working wrestlers in this business, we have the best athletes in this business, we have the guys that care the most about the three letters that the wrestling fans around the world chant in unision... E... C... W.
They don't chant WWF, they don't chant WCW and that is why this ship will no sink. We have cable TV and six weeks from tonight we will be back on PPV and once again we will be Living Dangerously. Nearer to the point though a week next Saturday night we will be returning back to our spiritual home on the corner of Swanson and Rittner. Seven years ago we broke every F'N rule in the book, next saturday night in the ECW Arena... I promise you we will give this business another kick in the rear end when we once again will be Crossing The Line of every expectation any one ever had of us... Why?
Beacause....
THIS IS E... C... F'N.... W!!!!!!!!
